  • Lajbook is the name of a beautiful valley situated in the Northern part of district Lower Dir. It has become famous because of a recently discovered tourist spot Sheen Ghar. The valley of Lajbook is formed by the mountainous slopes from three sides.
  • This valley contains the Sukai Peak which consists of the southern part of this valley. The top of this peak is the border between two districts, Upper Dir and Lower Dir.
  • The valley of Maidan is situated on the western side of this valley. It has a traditional society. People who live here face a lot of difficulties because of the lack of basic facilities such as roads, schools, colleges, hospitals etc.
  • Sheen Ghar
  • Sheen Ghar is a recently discovered tourist spot in Lajbook valley. It has become very famous in the surrounding areas. It is situated on top of the eastern flank of Sukai mountain.
  • It is the border between union council Khal and union council Lajbook.
  • It has become famous for its attractive natural sceneries, tremendous height and cool weather. Evergreen trees, green shrubs and grassy pastures make it a part of fairyland on earth.
  • A person can have a clear view of the surrounding areas which is really mesmerizing. Listening to the birds' songs in the cool breeze in Sheen Ghar is a feast of enjoyment for most of tourists.
  • It has become one of the most visited picnic spots in district Lower Dir. People visit it on eids as well as other days. Great rush is observed here in the summer season. Mostly, people take their guests on tour to Sheen Ghar in the surrounding areas
