Four witches were to be executed the next Saturday at Irvine, for witchcraft. They appointed three additional ministers to attend to the execution. This could be the execution of the four people for whom the Presbytery of Irvine requested a commission on 1 May 1650 (c/la/3205), (c/la/3133), (c/egd/1836), (c/la/3206). (English)
