    Statements

Ruling that it was not lawful to arrest a person merely on suspicion of witchcraft unless they were caught red-handed doing something like raising dead bodies and taking joints or dancing in the Kirk at midnight. Suspected witches had to be first summoned and questioned, like any other criminal suspect, before being arrested. If they are summond and do not appear, they are fugitive and can be arrested when found. (English)
