Translation[edit]

Hi, I saw your name in a project of a common friend (Epìdosis) and I checked your CV.

So, I have this tool about requested images, called wiki needs pictures. It's based on wikidata P18 property and some local categories of requsted images. It is still beta. Some P18 wikidata items are missing and some requested images from important local wikipedia too, also many items are not categorized yet. But it is already decently working.

Th.wiki does not have anything d:Q5324355 and that's good because on the long term geo-referenced local missing images can be controlled 99% with wikidata without huge maintenance cost of obsolete, partial local templates. The tool is intended to help users of "minor" wiki to reduce efforts. Instead of creating your own local cats for missing images you can use information from wikidata and similar established categories of other wiki.

I've created with a friend and I have translated the interface in many language (en,it,fr,de,es,sv) but noone from Asia one so far.

It is not a lot of work (half a page), could you help me to translate in Thai? And also if you want to show at your local community? They should learn how to "upload" image on wikidata or understand the concept of P18, but as a community without requested images cat that's something they should learn, IMHO.

Actually I stated that the use of wikidata and local catgories of other platforms makes the creation of more local Category:Wikipedia requested images for georeferenced objects and places useless with the tool. There's nothing to import as a tool, it is almost ready. I am asking you to translate is the introductory description:

Many Wikipedia articles have no images or only few. Some of them talk about things that are out there, ready to be photographed. Find them all!

Instructions

Use the top-left button to adjust the zoom or double click into the map. You can also click on a cluster near the location you want to explore.
Use the top-right button to filter pinpoints by category.
Use the bottom-right button to go to your current position.
Pass over a pinpoint to see its name. Make a click for more details and links.
Take pictures and upload them to Wikimedia Commons, then resolve the related warning (e.g. removing the template in its page or adding the image to Wikidata) and at the next run you will see the pinpoint disappear. Great job!

For any trouble or suggestion write on this page. This is an open source project! Let's code together in this Github repository.

The tool updates the view once a day. Please be patient, it takes a while to load all the data.
