Fictional rivers[edit]

I have just removed many exceptions that were added to the item-requires-statement constraint (Q21503247). These were all fictional rivers and if there is no obvious country I would recommend adding a country (P17) statement with special "unknown value" or "no value" as appropriate (instead of bloating the constraint). See Help:Statements#Unknown_or_no_values for further information. --SilentSpike (talk) 15:01, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Type constraint: lake[edit]

@Pigsonthewing: you recently added "instance of: lake" type constraint here (Special:Diff/1354026206). Why is that? As far as I can see this property is/was for use in watercourse items. There is outflows (P201) property for use in items of lakes that are river sources (including lakes). 2001:7D0:81C5:A580:139:B4C7:BCBD:5C 14:52, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For Great Barr Hall Lower Lake (Q105277046), for example. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:05, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This doesn't seem right. Neither this lake nor the linked one is an origin of the watercourse. I think better way should be found to link these two lakes (maybe connects with (P2789) will do). Other than that I can find 15 lake items that currently use this property to link to a river. These should probably be corrected like this: Special:Diff/1603059156. 2001:7D0:81C5:A580:139:B4C7:BCBD:5C 15:29, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
