Automated import[edit]

Since databaze-her.cz links to Steam and other stores (example), it would be possible to download all game pages from databaze-her.cz and perform a Join with Wikidata based on this shared identifier. I could give this a shot on December 10. —Dexxor (talk) 07:08, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Dexxor: There is mix'n'match catalogue connected to it, but I found out, it wasn't working well at that time (I heard about some problems/errors with the site). It would be cool to auto import all data, but I don't know how to do it. RiniX (talk) 19:42, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Dexxor: An import based on a join on Steam would be great − go for it :) Jean-Fred (talk) 20:24, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
✓ Done I performed the join on Steam and manually checked the games on Databaze-her.cz that were assigned the same Steam ID. @RiniX, Jean-Frédéric: —Dexxor (talk) 17:56, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Letting you know that I've created a new Mix'n'Match catalog that uses numeric IDs instead of the current one which has been using URL slugs all along. Now you can easily match game titles without having to go to the website and manually check the ID. Just in case, let me know if the catalog works correctly. Ah, awesome @Kirilloparma:, that was bugging me for a while :) Jean-Fred (talk) 11:34, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, no problem! :) Regards Kirilloparma (talk) 01:29, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
