Discussion

Replaced by a different ID

Apparently, iDNES.cz migrated to a different ID. E.g. the 3000263 ident now redirects to a different URL with ID 106. I see no system in the mapping, and I am unable to find the old-style identifiers for any player now. I guess we should (semi-)automatically rewrite all old identifiers to the new ones. Which would need to scrape the redirections by doing 1380 requests to fotbal.idnes.cz, and replace it on WD afterwards. Any volunteers…? --Mormegil (talk) 14:26, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

OK, so almost four years later, I volunteered myself… :-) I have migrated the identifiers to the new format (see toollabs:editgroups/b/CB/12d945253bedcca76d1d and Special:Diff/1782506051/1835002081). --Mormegil (talk) 12:32, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
