Welcome to the WikiProject Scotland's Accused Witches We aim at producing structured data documenting witchhunts, and prosecuted Scotland's accused witches on Wikidata using the University of Edinburgh's landmark Survey of Scottish Witchcraft database (1563 to 1736).

History

Emma Carroll was our first Wikidata Data Visualisation intern at the University of Edinburgh working for 12 weeks back in the Summer of 2019. Maggie Lin then took on the mantle in Summer 2022 adding details of witchcraft investigations to Wikidata and Ruby Imrie is the current incumbent for Summer 2023.
