Republic Day Citation Hunt 2023 is a one month long edit-a-thon in which students at the senior secondary school from Dubai Edit Wikidata items and add more references forfollowing listed items.Your goal is to add at least one reference to Wikipedia! Any citation to a reliable source is a benefit to Wikipedia readers worldwide.

How to do[edit]

  1. Create an Wikidata Account
  2. Click any of the following link. For eg : Click:Q455438 for # Allan_Octavian_Hume
  3. Check whether there is references given for his/her given name/ family name / palce of birth / occupation.
  4. If there is no references given, please search about it and find the trusted website.
  5. Copy the URL of that website ( for eg : https://www.britannica.com/biography/Allan-Octavian-Hume )
  6. Return to the page Q455438 Click Edit where you would like to add references.
  7. Click Add reference
  8. Type reference URL
  9. Paste the copied URL which means https://www.britannica.com/biography/Allan-Octavian-Hume at the box appear.
  10. Click Publish.
