Français : "Portrait de Louise de Keroualle (1649-1734), duchesse de Portsmouth, dit autrefois Portrait de Marie-Angélique de Scoraille (* 1681), duchesse de Fontanges, maîtresse de Louis XIV Sans doute un portrait de la période anglaise de l’artiste (établi à Londres depuis 1668-1669), compte tenu du modèle, du coloris et de la manière de portraitistes anglais actifs en Angleterre à la même époque, comme Lely ou Kneller. – Autres portraits de la duchesse par Lely (gravure de Valck, 1678), par Verelst (coll. part. anglaise), par Gascar (coll. part.) confirmant l’identification déjà donnée par l’Inventaire Bailly et approuvée par Julia Marciari Alexander (comm. écrite, 2000). – À dater vers 1675."
