Description
Montpellier (Hérault, Languedoc, Occitania), Fabre museum, portrait of Louis XIV that would have been made by Jean Ranc when he worked for the studio of Hyacinthe Rigaud in Paris; it is a partial replica, bust, of the large full-length portrait of Louis XIV painted by his master Rigaud in 1701, preserved in the Louvre museum (INV 7492).
