Description
Escena popular protagonizada por dos personajes, uno de ellos ataviado a la moda del siglo XVIII con capa y bicornio, frente al Pabellón de Carlos V en los jardines del Alcázar de Sevilla. Esta obra forma parte de un conjunto de pequeñas tablas realizadas por Raimundo de Madrazo en 1868, en su viaje a Granada y Sevilla. A pesar de su reducido tamaño, esta obra, al igual que el resto de la serie, ostenta una extraordinaria calidad pictórica, deleitándose el artista en la descripción de detalles precisos y reales como la decoración de los azulejos que adornan la arquitectura o la vegetación poblada de naranjas y especies florales perfectamente identificables.
