Subject: FW: Request for public domain or CC-licensed publicity photo of Kim Hill for Wikipedia
I was interviewed by Kim on Saturday about Wikipedia’s 15th birthday, and was just now editing her Wikipedia page, fixing references and adding the book she wrote with Paul Callaghan. I notice there’s no good photo of her in Wikimedia Commons; I wonder if it would be possible to RadioNZ to supply a publicity photo I could use? The only caveat is that it needs to be released into the public domain, or made available under a Creative Commons attribution licence; copyrighted images can’t be used on Wikipedia. If that’s OK, I’d be happy to add it to the page.
