Nederlands: Een kleurrijke groep vrouwen volgt een moeder die haar dochter voor het eerst naar school brengt. Voor hen uit loopt een man die het borduurraam van het meisje draagt. Borduren was samen met naaien en muziek maken een zeer geliefd tijdverdrijf voor Turkse vrouwen in gegoede kringen, die voor de dagelijkse huishoudelijke taken vele slaven hadden.
