Description
Nederlands: Centraal in het midden zitten Anna Marie Leidstar en de pater familias David George op een lange gele divan. Anne Marie draagt Turkse kleding en zij heeft haar jongste zoon Jacob op schoot die een geel jurkje draagt. Aan haar rechterzijde werd haar jongste dochter Hester Maria staand op de divan met een bloempje in de hand afgebeeld. David George is westers gekleed en houdt twee brieven in zijn hand. Verder zitten op de gele divan links van het echtpaar grootvader Justinus Johannes Leidstar met snor en op Turkse wijze gekleed. Rechts van het echtpaar zien we de gouverneur van de kinderen, meneer D’Antan, bladerend in een boek. Voor hem staat de oudste dochter Elisabeth Clara afgebeeld. Zij draagt eveneens Turkse kledij en haar hoofdtooi is versierd met bloemen en een veer. Met haar linkerhand leunt zij op een tafel en in haar rechterhand heeft zij een tekenstift. Aan vaders voeten op het Turkse tapijt zitten nog twee dochters knus bij elkaar. Degene in het blauwe jurkje is Cornelia Jacoba. Anna, die een geel jurkje draagt, slaat een arm om haar zus en samen houden zij een appel vast. Links op de voorgrond staan trots de twee oudste zonen van David George afgebeeld. Links met de degen in de hand is David. Rechts met strijkstok in de hand en viool onder de arm is George Justinus vernoemd naar zijn twee grootvaders.
