راهنمای ۳ (حذف آیتم اشتباه یا تکراری)[edit]

در ویکی‌داده امکان ادغام تاریخچه وجود ندارد در نتیجه برای ادغام دو آیتم که تکراری هستند مثلا آیتم A و B باید طبق مراحل زیر عمل کنید:

پیوندهای درون آیتم A را بردارید و در آیتم B کپی کنید.
وقتی آیتم A خالی شد به کمک ابزار حذف (از ترجیحات/ابزارها فعالش کنید) که در منوی سمت راست نوار جستجو قرار دارد درخواست حذف دهید.
در درخواست حذف باید نام آیتم B (مثلا Q123) را هم ذکر کنید تا مدیران بدانند محتویات خالی شدهٔ آیتم A کجا هستند.

مدیران در صفحهٔ Wikidata:Requests for deletions درخواست شما را بررسی می‌کنند و در صورت خالی بودن آیتم مورد درخواست آن را حذف خواهند کرد.

edit request arabic Wikipedia[edit]

Hi, the gender of the american soccer-players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo were wrong in Wikidata and these infos were imported from the arabic Wikipedia. I've changed it in Wikidata,[1][2] but because I can't read/write arabic I can't change the categories in the arabic Wikipedia. Hi! It was correct, and "Hope Solo" article in ar.wikipedia is already in "American women's soccer players" category ("Alex Morgan" wasn't; I added it). There must some mistake in the bot's code. --Z 06:36, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Castles[edit]

Hi dadash, few advices regarding to Gerdkuh:

It's not wise to add that castle is "near" to some village, because infobox will show that it is actually inside it. Precise rural district and coordinates are enough.
perimeter of 6 km is impossible, that data probably stands for the mountain, but item describes a castle. Beside it, it's not referenced (I'm obsessed with it :)).
inserting the "unknown value" for origination is unnecessary because its existence before Ismaili period is not known for sure (Iranica says "possibly").

Speaking of Iranian castles in general, in next weeks my plan is to solve it on the same way as I did caravanserais in Iran. It means total unification in categorization, all strictly dated and located, and all Wikidata values referenced. After I finish, I'll inform you to check it, and if you notice anything dubious or incorrect, feel free to inform me here or on Commons. Thanks for the message. Regarding the perimeter, it is actually a 6 km outer wall (I had sourced the statement in the article, I will add the reference to the Wikidata entry). That would be great, I hope it is going to be (semi)-aitomated sincce there are many of them.
