Best regards! --Tobias1984 (talk) 21:13, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Babel[edit]

Babel lets you view and edit more than one language on Wikidata. Just add e.g. {{#babel:de-0|en-3|es-N|fr-2|nl-3|it-4|da-0}} to your user page. With the same language codes you can add links to your userpage on Wikipedia e.g. es:User:PePeEfe. --Tobias1984 (talk) 21:13, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Some lists[edit]

Here are lists of stratigraphic units by country: Wikidata:WikiProject Geology/Lists of sedimentary units by country --Tobias1984 (talk) 17:20, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Queries[edit]

I am starting a page for geologic queries here: Wikidata:WikiProject Geology/Queries. Let me know if you are interested in a specific query. --Tobias1984 (talk) 10:51, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Waptia[edit]

You can't say Pepito was an "academic tenure" from 2014 to 2036. You may say however he was tenured in 2014, he was tenured from 2014 to 2036, or that he was a "tenured professor". Gracias.--Asqueladd (talk) 14:36, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Muchas gracias. Pongo "gran estructura anular".--Asqueladd (talk) 19:28, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

On these articles, you've entered Guillermo Meléndez-Hevia (Q104878522) as author, but I think he is not the same author. He appears to do medical research. (see https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=23976689900 )

The Scopus last name doesn't match this name. Please compare with Guillermo Meléndez-Mier (Q88929439) I might be confused. Trilotat (talk) 16:19, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

When disambiguting authors, please complete the task[edit]

I saw your work on Arenig trace fossils from the Salamanca area, western Spain (Q104053895). Please sure to add series ordinal (P1545) and object named as (P1932) when listing author (P50) and also delete the author name string (P2093). Many thanks. Trilotat (talk) 20:33, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you use the ORCIDator tool?[edit]

This is a great tool for quickly disambiguating authors. https://sourcemd.toolforge.org/orcidator_old.php will create or amend wikidata items based on the articles (with a DOI) in ORCID. Try using the tool and entering Q60681426. It will create an article that the author has in their ORCID file, but that is not in Wikidata yet. Trilotat (talk) 15:51, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment[edit]

Dear PePeEfe,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.

If you agree to participate in this study, please either contact me at kholoud.alghamdi@kcl.ac.uk or use this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSees9WzFXR0Vl3mHLkZCaByeFHRrBy51kBca53euq9nt3XWog/viewform?usp=sf_link I will contact you with the link to start the study.

For more information about the study, please read this post: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Kholoudsaa In case you have further questions or require more information, don't hesitate to contact me through my mentioned email.

Thank you for considering taking part in this research.

Regards
