deutsche Version, German translation[edit]

The German translation can't be added on the page because of an abuse filter which provides a dewiki-Link. It's this one: de:Benutzer:Stefan64/Sei kein Idiot. Perhaps a sysop can add this translation on the page? There doesn't exist a page in the WP namespace, this is the known translation since 2005 that I've found, look at the history and the usage also in other namespaces. Would it be possible to add this interwiki link on the page? --Bjarlin 18:36, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Matěj Suchánek: I don't know where to ask here or if someone will notice this here. May I ask you to take a look at this and tell me, if there is a possibility to add the German translation for the WP essay on this page? The WP essays are all internal and no articles or templates, so I think this should be possible in this case. Because the essay is no rule or help page and also no function page, it will not get into the WP namespace on dewiki, such essays are not wanted there. It's not like on enwiki or other wikis, where essays are in the WP namespace. But I think that this convention should not prevent a translation to be added as an interwiki link. Personally I am against adding links to user and other excluded namespaces even if there's a good reason to do so. So I'm not doing this. As this can be done by a sysop, you can ask for it at the noticeboard when you may find help. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 18:58, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks for your opinion and the link, I'll ask there, what others think about it. --Bjarlin 19:06, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
