Difficult point system[edit]

@Thryduulf:, @Edgars2007: Sometimes is difficult to show the point system of a league. For example, many leagues in volleyball gave 3 points to the winning team if they win with 3-0 or 3-1 set. If the game ended with 3-2 the winning team take 2 points and the looser 1 point. How can we show that with the property? Xaris333 (talk) 08:49, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Have to think about this. --Edgars2007 (talk) 09:11, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
My first thought is to create items "3-0 sets win", "3-1 sets win" and "3-2 sets win", set them as subclass of victory, sport Volleyball and use them as the values for the applies to part of this property. The items serve a structural need and so are fine notability wise. I don't know how to actually note the number of sets won as structured data though (number of points/goals/set scored (P1351) perhaps?). Thryduulf (talk) 10:16, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Thryduulf:, @Edgars2007: Check this please [1]. Do you think is better to have an item like two points for a win (Q27135948) with the name "Volleyball point system per sets" or "Volleyball point system according to sets", and set points awarded (P3260) with 3-0 sets (Q27210420), 3-1 sets (Q27210425) and 3-2 sets (Q27210429).
