Transgender synonym
[edit]I've removed the transgender synonym. Transgender and intersex are distinct concepts. Most people who are transgender are not intersex. Kaldari (talk) 17:29, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Is form of sex, not gender
[edit]I changed the property 'is instance of' from gender identity (Q48264) to biological sex (Q290), since intersexuality is a biological term, not a social or psychological term. Intersexual people can identify with different genders (male, female, in-between). Bever (talk) 21:12, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
