Welcome! ...and getting to work

@Tobias1984, Discoveranjali: Hello! Thank you for joining, and welcome to this WikiProject!

I've gone ahead and started a proposal for some workflows we might consider—please take a look at Wikidata:WikiProject_Interesting_Content/Proposals when you have the time. This was my first time writing a WikiProject proposal so your feedback and input are very much appreciated! I hope what's there so far all sounds reasonable...assuming it does, I think the next step for the WikiProject is setting up the calendar of dates (as discussed under "Curation of content") and then starting to populate it with various interesting pieces of content.

I also just wanted to let you know that I recently discussed the new Main page with Lydia and we both thought it best to just use the current content we have on the redesign draft (i.e. Magnus Manske's Wikidata tempo-spatial display) when the new page is launched in the next couple of weeks so we're not scrambling to get everything in order before then.
