Metrics[edit]

We are using the Programs and Events Dashboard to gather statistics for the PCC Wikidata Pilot. The statistics for the whole pilot are tracked with this campaign.

Property Proposals[edit]

A property describes the data value of a statement and can be thought of as a category of data, for example "color" for the data value "blue". Properties, when paired with values, form a statement in Wikidata. Properties are also used in qualifiers. Basic information on properties and property proposals is available at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Help:Properties.

Add the project proposals that you have worked on and their progress to this page.

Create a Programs and Events Dashboard for your institution/project[edit]

Each institution/multi-institution project can create their own dashboard and associate with the campaign. Here are some slides with screenshots to show you how to create the dashboard (start with slide 12). If you already have created a dashboard you can add it to the PCC Wikidata Pilot Campaign (slide 19).

Create a Project Page[edit]

You can create a page for your project that will be part of this WikiProject space. If you have questions, you can contact Hilary Thorsen, thorsenh@stanford.edu, Chicagohil. If you already have your own WikiProject for your library, you are welcome to link to that on the Participants page.

Here are some slides with screenshots to show how you can create your page.

Here is an Example Project Page with headings and tables and links for other projects that you can copy and use for inspiration. Feel free to add to it with examples from your own or other projects.

Create your User Page[edit]

Your user page has a name like this: User:Example. (This link is to yours.) Its use is to give basic information, if you wish, about yourself or your Wikimedia-related activities. You don't have to say anything about yourself. Wikidata does not have a conflict of interest policy, but your user page can be a good place to say where you work for transparency.
