Wikidata[edit]
Wikidata as a hub of linked data captures links to the listed identifiers, by their respective primary identifiers.
Commons[edit]
As the collection of media files and their structured (meta) data, Commons is linked to the listed sources as indicated in the table above. There is one caveat to make. Besides links to the Mediawiki sisterprojects, the other sources are not linked. Their content - mainly images - is reused by importing it to commons. In the other direction for example type specimen images from WikiCommons cam be added to iNaturalist species pages via the "curation" button. There's a dropdown menu once you start to curate images for the species page in iNaturalist that allows you to import images from WikiCommons. It's a great way to help out iNat users who have yet to identify their observations to research grade.
Wikipedia[edit]
Wikidata and commons as sister projects of Wikipedia are linked to each other and as such content is reused. However not all language editions of Wikipedia have embraced reuse from Wikidata.
iNaturalist[edit]
For their description pages, iNaturalist uses Wikipedia articles on the applicable species. Depending on the set default language of the app or website, the applicable language article is shown. iNaturalist adds newly created Wikipedia articles when you first visit the "about" page of that species after the Wikipedia article has been created. It seems that iNaturalist updates their ingestion of Wikipedia pages once a week
GBIF[edit]
GBIF adds newly created Wikidata items immediately to their species pages if the Wikidata item has a GBIF identifier added to it. GBIF also incorporates the English Wikipedia - Species pages dataset creating species pages based on this dataset. See this example.
