Task/s: Updating music-related items based on Wikipedia category information
Code:
Function details: Based on a conversation I started on Project chat, I'd like to use this account to make batch edits on musician-related items. I'd be using Quick statements or Autolist most likely and will be sure to supervise the lists I edit carefully. --Sweet kate (talk) 21:02, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Any comments on the task?--Ymblanter (talk) 08:46, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Meaning more specifics? My first plan is to set musicians (based on Wikipedia categories) as occupation (P106) of musician (Q639669) and then associate them with their instruments. For instance, all persons in w:Category:American classical cellists can get instrument (P1303) of cello (Q8371). Both statements would be set as imported from Wikimedia project (P143) English Wikipedia. Sweet kate (talk) 23:46, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- No, sorry, I meant comments from other users. If there are no comments forthcoming, I am going to approve the bot tomorrow.--Ymblanter (talk) 14:06, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
