Motivation[edit]
'Tautomer of' property would be used to link different tautomers like those given in the example above, but also zwitterions with its neutral forms, keto-enol tautomers, ring-chain tautomers (e.g. for sugars, we already have a few items about different forms of sugars depending on the chain/ring structure) etc. There were questions earlier in WikiProject whether we need/want items about tautomeric forms that are minor (less predominant), but this is IMO unavoidable as in various databases there are entries for different tautomers, not only one entry mixing both tautomeric forms into one (like in PubChem).
This property would be the next property for linking between compounds based on quite clear definition (we already have stereoisomer of (P3364), hydrated form of (P4770), monomer of (P4599), polymer of (P4600), conjugate acid (P4147), conjugate base (P4149)).
