Motivation[edit]
Going through complementary property (P8882), I noticed that we have complementary properties for many, but not for "has cause". While one could probably model some with has cause (P828) and deprecated rank, in other cases, this might not be optimal. Please help complete the above proposal, it could use more samples. Discussion[edit]
- So just to clarify, is this supposed to represent that X is proven by quality research, or generally agreed among experts, to not be caused by Y? Like e.g. autism (Q38404) -> "does not have cause" -> vaccine (Q134808)? -- Btcprox (talk) 10:56, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
- Maybe the difference to has cause (P828) is that the focus of the reference would generally be to exclude a particular cause, whereas one for a deprecated has cause (P828)-statement could mean that it isn't conclusively shown to be caused by that. The usual referencing requirements applies. --- Jura 10:54, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
