Motivation[edit]

analogue to Twitter (X) numeric user ID (P6552). in Wikidata:Property proposal/All the Tropes identifier User:Pamputt suggested that a curid would be more stable and would enable us to keep mediawiki based properties up to date. --Shisma (talk) 19:35, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Assuming all the appropriate has characteristic (P1552) tags are filled in, there are 61 with the page-title approach and only 6 with the curid approach.
Also, for what it's worth, I agree with Tinker Bell that this is semantically a string, not a number. Vahurzpu (talk) 17:55, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
