Motivation[edit]

(Note: I have never tried to propose a property before!) To have an authoritative identifier for almost all persons and organisations involved in composing, conducting, performing, recording, producing or otherwise participating in art ("classical") and contemporary music in New Zealand. There should also be related properties (also authority control identifiers?) for SOUNZ resources and works, but I'll start here with contributors. SOUNZ (Q75371552) is the branding and online database of the Centre for New Zealand Music Trust / Toi te Arapūoru, a member of The International Association of Music Information Centres (Q7742285) and funded by Creative New Zealand (Q5183529), APRA (Q4823444), Recorded Music NZ (Q843881), and various trusts I can't find Q numbers for (Stout Trust, Lilburn Trust, and Wellington Community Trust). — Jonathanischoice (talk) 02:14, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
