Motivation[edit]
The Penza Encyclopedia is one of the few regional encyclopedias in Russia that has a version on the Internet. In addition, it works on the MediaWiki engine - the same as the products of the Wikimedia Foundation. --MasterRus21thCentury (talk) 18:43, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

Comment @MasterRus21thCentury, Evs: what about using a numerical identifier? For example, 3563, instead of Пенза, 4642 instead of Сура,_река, etc. The advantage is this identifier is stable; it is not modified when a page is renamed. Anyway, I have already created Penza Encyclopedia ID (P10036) but before using this property widely, I would preder to discuss which kind of identifier we should use. - @MasterRus21thCentury: Indeed, here is the explanation how to find this number. First, you need to type in cyrrilic script the word you are interested in. Then you click on Сведения о странице in the left menu. On this page, you find the "magic" number (Идентификатор страницы). Since you will be one of the user of this property, up to you but I wanted to be sure you do not prefer a more stable identifier. Pamputt (talk) 21:44, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
