- Motivation
1. The latest Russian classification of economic activities. The older two are scheduled to become obsolete in 2007.
2. More detailed than OKVED 1.1. Mostly (?) agrees with OKPD2, and is based on Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community, Rev. 2 (2008) (Q26756054), taking from the latter codes up to 4 digit long and their descriptions.
