Motivation[edit]

Numista is a community-built freely-accessible catalogue for coins, banknotes, and related items, currently hosting almost 280 000 types from the Antiquity to the present day. Each type is given a unique URI. Resources available for each type include the issuer, value, currency, period, dates, shape, material, dimensions, inscriptions and translations, descriptions, edge type, orientation, manufacturing method, legal tender status, tags, designer, engraver, mints or printers, issuing banks, mintmarks, mintage, auction sales, etc. Numista offers an API. Alongside the main catalogue, Numista has databases for mints, engravers, banks, and other related topics. I have recently proposed the creation of a property for Numista Mint IDs, which is under discussion. I disclose the fact that I am a contributor and catalog administrator of Numista. Discussion[edit]

@Stratocaster47, ArthurPSmith: ✓ Done Numista ID (P10205) Pamputt (talk) 20:48, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Pamputt thank you!
I noticed that the identifiers don't work as active links (e.g. Q667160) is this behavior intended? Stratocaster47 (talk) 07:48, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Stratocaster47: more or less. There is a kind of cache that prevents link to be active during some time. Usually links become active after several hours or 1 day. Pamputt (talk) 08:39, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
