- Motivation
Nederlands Soortenregister is a reliable database, run by Naturalis Biodiversity Center (Q641676), displaying an actual, complete and accurate overview of species existing in the Netherlands. See Doel en uitgangspunten. It now contains over 44000 species and lower taxa. Information includes vernacular names, accepted scientific names and synonyms, as far as they have been used in the Netherlands in the last decades, distribution and photographs.
