Lithuanian Heritage Registry code[edit]
Originally proposed at Wikidata:Property proposal/Place
Description | Lithuanian Heritage Registry issues a number for each of its entry. The number is unique, permanent and does not seem to be reassigned. Some entries in the Registry are for complexes, encompassing one or more other individual entries, but usually such complexes have Wikidata items of their own. |

Planned use | I plan to add this property to most prominent entries manually as I do not have means to do that automatically currently. In the long run it would be great to automate that, as many of heritage objects in Lithuanian Wikipedia have Registry numbers added in their descriptions using lt:template:kvrmc. |
Number of IDs in source | tens of thousands |
Expected completeness | eventually complete (Q21873974) |
Formatter URL | http://kvr.kpd.lt/heritage/Pages/KVRDetail.aspx?lang=lt&MC=$1 |
Robot and gadget jobs | It would be nice to employ a bot or use w:user:ListeriaBot to compile lists of objects already described in Wikipedia and notice which are not. |
Motivation[edit]
Lithuanian Heritage Registry is an authoritative list of protected heritage objects in Lithuania. Registry codes are used widely in Lithuanian Wikipedia, and they could be used to link with official pages on Heritage Department website. Powermelon (talk) 09:05, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
