Motivation[edit]

(Purnnachandra Ordia Bhashakosha is a 1931-1941 lexicon and arguably the oldest and most comprehensive lexicographic work in the Odia language. Two civil society organizations—Srujanika which originally collected the fragile volumes, scanned and digitized it, and the University of Chicago under the Library of Congress-supported DSAL project—have created a stable version for lookup. While the lexicon helped in the past to expand the Odia Wiktionary, it is now helpful for the creation of lexemes and citations. The examples above do contain the page number but a dedicated property would be helpful for a clickable URL as a citation.) Psubhashish (talk) 11:34, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

@ArthurPSmith: so, the URL is for a page in the original printed version of the book which DSAL has retained. It also makes sense from a lexicographical standpoint as one can see a few other lemmas that are related to the searched one. Is that an issue though? --Psubhashish (talk) 13:52, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you much @User:Tomodachi94. I personally got quite occupied, and to some extent, distracted and couldn't follow up here. Fellow community members like Mahir and Bodhi have been very kind in the past, offering help. Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute to lexemes soon and make use of this property. --Psubhashish (talk) 14:46, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
