Julius Arthur Thiele (Q25994156)[edit]

You seem to have emptied out Arthur Thiele (Q25994156). I restored the item. Why did you do this? Multichill (talk) 11:54, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

birth date of August Lohr[edit]

Hi, you changed the bith date of August Lohr (Q18572003) from 1843 to August 26th 1843. However, the stated source of the statement [1] does not provide the day of the year. Can you provide a source for the statement ? --Zolo

de-Wikipedia
Actually, dewiki states 1842, not 1843. --Zolo (talk) 12:26, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please merge instead of blanking[edit]

I see that you blanked most of Poul Hagelstein (Q28049173), presumably because you noticed it was a duplicate of Poul Hagelstein (Q22970792). It's generally better to merge in these cases instead of blanking because external resources may have links to that item. I've fixed it up for you in this case. Please merge instead of blanking[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your work in maintaining Wikidata. I have a small suggestion to improve your future work. If you notice that two items are duplicates, please merge them instead of blanking one of them as you did with the page Q42273114. External sites use Wikidata identifiers, so it is important that we preserve the chain of references. See Help:Merge for more information on how to do this, and consider installing the Merge Gadget.
