Typographie du français

Bonjour,

Merci d'avoir ajouté des libellés et descriptions sur Wikidata, c'est un travail aussi utile que précieux. Pour information, les descriptions sur Wikidata ne sont pas des phrases ni des titres. En français (et dans plusieurs autres langues), ils commencent donc habituellement par une minuscule initiale (voir Help:Label/fr et Help:Description/fr pour plus d'informations). Je viens de corriger la typographie sur Saint-Jacques de Locquirec church (Q3585550), old cemetery of Locquirec (Q22925976) et cemetery of Locquirec, France (Q91143429) par exemple.

WikiProject Sailing

Bonjour,

Merci beaucoup d'avoir rejoint WD:SAIL. Le projet est tres recent, votre aide serait tres utile. N'hesitez pas a modifier ou ajouter ce que vous voulez!. Pour le moment, il y a:

• quelques modeles de donnees
• quelques outils
• et un debut de todo list

Vous pouvez aussi commenter sur:

• la proposition de creation d'une propriete USCG MIC ID
• la proposition de creation des schemas de donnees: boat_manufacturing_company, sailboat_class, sailboat

Je vous conseille egalement les projets wikipedia associes: WP SAIL et WP VOILE.

Bad edit

this was a bad edit. P131 should point to the administrative territorial entity, not to the town (which is not an administrative territorial entity). P276 in the item points to the location. Please do not do this sort of thing again, it's very damaging. --Tagishsimon (talk) 09:31, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

If This Is a Man (Q836036)

Hi PtiBzh,

The fact that historical fiction (Q1196408) appears two times, yes, it is a quickstatement error (it happens sometimes and I don't know how to prevent this, thank you for having spotted it). But historical fiction (Q1196408) should appear at least once. historical novel (Q192239) is the intersection between historical fiction (Q1196408) and novel (Q8261). My batch is adding historical fiction (Q1196408) as a genre, novel (Q8261) as a form, and will delete historical novel (Q192239) from the genre.

Yes indeed, that seems weird. Maybe historical novel (Q192239) should not have been used in the first place for that book. I'm going to remove historical fiction (Q1196408) like you did, since If This Is a Man (Q836036) doesn't seem to be a fiction but an autobiography. Should novel (Q8261) be removed as well (because usually a novel is a fiction) ? CaLéValab (talk) 19:16, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Poste de secours SNSM

Bonjour,

Pour info, je viens de faire une série d'améliorations sur les éléments sur les postes de secours SNSM. Voir par exemple l'historique de Poste de Secours SNSM Groix - Grands Sables (Q98843506) j'ai corrigé la typographie du libellé et de la description, j'ai corrigé la langue du site internet (French (Q150) et non France (Q142) et retiré le site général snsm.org qui n'est pas vraiment une référence ici), j'ai aussi ajouté country (P17) (= France (Q142)), located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) et location (P276) (quand je l'ai trouvé). La localisation permet de faire des cartes comme celle-ci : https://w.wiki/5bah ;)

J'espère ne pas avoir fait d'erreurs (il y en a eu quelques unes dans les P276 mais je les ai vite repéré et corrigé), si c'est le cas, n'hésite pas à me le dire.

Invitation to participate in the WQT UI requirements elicitation online workshop

Dear PtiBzh,

I hope you are doing well,

We are a group of researchers from King’s College London working on developing WQT (Wikidata Quality Toolkit), which will support a diverse set of editors in curating and validating Wikidata content.

We are inviting you to participate in an online workshop aimed at understanding the requirements for designing effective and easy-to-use user interfaces (UI) for three tools within WQT that can support the daily activities of Wikidata editors: recommending items to edit based on their personal preferences, finding items that need better references, and generating entity schemas automatically for better item quality.

The main activity during this workshop will be UI mockup sketching. To facilitate this, we encourage you to attend the workshop using a tablet or laptop with PowerPoint installed or any other drawing tools you prefer. This will allow for a more interactive and productive session as we delve into the UI mockup sketching activities.

Participation is completely voluntary. You should only take part if you want to and choosing not to take part will not disadvantage you in any way. However, your cooperation will be valuable for the WQT design. Please note that all data and responses collected during the workshop will be used solely for the purpose of improving the WQT and understanding editor requirements. We will analyze the results in an anonymized form, ensuring your privacy is protected. Personal information will be kept confidential and will be deleted once it has served its purpose in this research.

The online workshop, which will be held on April 5th, should take no more than 3 hours.
