Manuscripts[edit]

Bonjour Laboratoire LAMOP,

sorry for writing in English, I don't speak French. I noticed you creating new items for manuscripts, and I wanted to draw your attention to our Wikidata:WikiProject Manuscripts where we have a sketch of our Data Model for manuscripts. Maybe this is useful to you. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or Epìdosis.

Great! When adding new items, you should also think about adding some more meaningful data to it so they can be found in queries.
Gallica IDs can (and should) be recorded with the custom property Gallica ID (P4258).

It seems you are doing a lot of work. I would be very interested to learn what'S behind it. Given your username, it cannot be a private project. If your work is part of some coordinated outreach effort by an institution, it would be helpful to us all if you could outline the scope and aims of your project on your user page. I would also like to know whom to personally contact if I have questions. Yours, Jonathan Groß (talk) 19:46, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
