Jan Abaza

Дос, I thank you for creating the article on the Russian Wikipedia about Jan Abaza, however, I wanted to let you know that you've made a mistake in the transliteration. This was apparent when you changed the ru-label to "Джейн Абаза", this would be the transliteration of "Jane", now it's "Джен" (presumably Jen?) I had reverted it in the meantime back to "Жан", but that was my mistake too. After looking into the matter furter, I realised, of course, that Jan should be spelt "Джан" – like in "Джанет". I should have known better, because my name is Jared (Джаред), the first part of Jan is pronounced similarly. My conclusion is that "Jan Abaza" in Russian should be "Джан Абаза", because "Джен" is definitely wrong. I don't expect you to answer, but it would be nice, and I wish you a nice weekend anyway. I was asked by Дос Сантуш to voice my opinion. The girl is not extremely popular in Cyrillic sources, we are talking about couple hundred mentions as "Джан Абаза" and same amount (give or take) as "Джен Абаза". In such cases (absence of clear advantage to one of the transcriptions), the rules of the Russian Wikipedia suggest using basic principles of practical transcription; in this case I'd say that "Джан" is closer to these principles. --Deinocheirus (talk) 15:30, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

career statistics

Please add WTA player ID (P597), ITF player ID before 2020 (archived) (P599) etc. only to items about the tennis player and not to the career statistics of the player, e.g. add the identifiers to Serena Williams (Q11459) and not to Serena Williams career statistics (Q3488059).
