Thank you very much, Littledogboy! :)
Also thought you might find Wikidata:Tools#Merge useful... Littledogboy (talk) 15:21, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just tried it out. Anything that reduces the amount of clicks I have to make is very helpful! I don't normally read the updates here, so thank you for the tip! Osiris (talk) 21:22, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also makes it easy for admins to delete empty items you leave behind. Btw, are you a native simple English speaker? Littledogboy (talk) 12:50, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think so. ;P I haven't studied it if that's what you mean. Osiris (talk) 21:26, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
All I'm saying writing simply is rather hard. It's a bit of a far shot, but I'm looking for someone to help a little. There is confusion around articles en:lawyer, en:jurist and their interwikis (other language pages linked to them). I noticed that enwiki and simple articles differ. Is my overview at Wikidata:Interwiki conflicts#Advocate/lawyer correct? Littledogboy (talk) 11:35, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hm. Let me ask on the village pump at simplewiki. There's usually somebody willing to help sort out those kinds of matters. I myself have little knowledge about the differences between legal professions. I'll get back to you with some answers shortly. Osiris (talk) 03:07, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── The simplewiki version (w:simple:Lawyer) has been altered now to mirror the enwiki version more closely. Take a look and confirm for yourself, though, and let me know whether than solves the conflict on our end or whether there's something else I should do. Osiris (talk) 12:52, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am amazed by the workings of simple! Thanks, I will be bold and sort out the rest myself. Best, Littledogboy (talk) 12:28, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Yeah, I keep forgetting to add my new simplewiki pages to Wikidata. Thanks for getting 'em for me. TCN7JM 23:36, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you :)[edit]

Thank you for going through my newly created Simple English Wikipedia articles and looking for interwiki links. It is very much appreciated. :) (One day, I hope to get all the Spanish Paralympic medalists articles created and then on to English Wikipedia.) --LauraHale (talk) 17:32, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oh no problem, Laura! They are fun to find, especially on some of the small Hispanic wikis. Osiris (talk) 20:31, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have been asking some of the Wikipedia's involving Spain's minority languages to write about Paralympians from areas where the language is spoken. :) It has been very cool to see this, with interwiki links on Simple English Wikipedia to Galacian, Basque and Aragonese Wikipedias showing up with no other interwiki links. :) The simple English part seems like it would be easier for non-native English speakers to translate, and the short stubs making it easier to translate. (Plus, more potential articles.) And yeah, great to see. :) Thanks very much for the help. If you notice I am missing an accent in the name, please do move the article on Simple English Wikipedia. My database of medalists does not include those. :( --LauraHale (talk) 06:20, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sure, I can do that. No problem! I think it's a great project you've got going, and I'm glad you've chosen simplewiki to work with. It gives us great visibility! Osiris (talk) 01:39, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Little Iodine[edit]

Just FYI, I removed the SimpleWiki link you added to Little Iodine (Q6650423) because it wasn't a match. The enwiki article is about the comic strip, but the simplewiki article is about the movie. --Auntof6 (talk) 20:57, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, thanks. I'll have to rework the article. Osiris (talk) 01:01, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've edited the article to look a bit more like the English Wikipedia's version now. Osiris (talk) 02:37, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. There's currently a merger discussion between helicopter parent (Q1352982) and monster parents (Q20983091) on w:en:Talk:Helicopter_parent#Merger_proposal. As you have edited one or both of these Wikidata item, you are invited to contribute to that discussion. Deryck Chan (talk) 17:02, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
