An ontology thing that is annoying and complicated on Wikidata are concept (Q151885)s. Concepts are basically relevant ideas of things usually relevant to a particular field of study. Concepts are usually distinguished by putting instance of (P31)concept (Q151885)on the item. I find this to be a bad habit and it should stop.

This is dumb to document because technically every item is a concept. Every item is a representation of how we think something is in the real world and thus a conceptualization of it.

For items that currently use instance of (P31)concept (Q151885) we should simply just remove them and try to describe them more-thuroughly. When that is done we should add a constraint to instance of (P31) to disallow concept and its subclasses.

As for concepts of a specific field of study like concept in physics (Q33104303) we should use studied in (P2579) instead.
