Hello, you added membership to the Association of German Engineers (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure, VDI) to Kate Gleason in December 2018 . I reversed that in December 2019 because, according to the VDI's official view, Ilse Knott-ter Meer became the first female VDI member in 1925. I have since come to the conclusion that I acted too rashly. Do you have any sources which I can consult that prove Kate Gleason joined the VDI in 1913? Kind regards --~~~~

I was working from a print copy of the book The Biographical Dictionary of Women in Science. The entry describing Kate Gleason is on page 507.
