Infovarius, name "Nickel-Strunz classification" is sometimes used for 9th edition and subsequent edition which include Nickel's contribution. Numbering of editions despite this didn't change. These latest verions are still denoted also as simply "Strunz classification" (e.g. see [1][2], also print publication Q13417527 is titled only after Strunz). Wikipedia sitelinks seem to be sorted between this item and Nickel–Strunz classification (Q3679719) only based on article titles, while for the most part articles without "Nickel" in title cover latest editions as well. So generally there doesn't seem to be real distinction between these two items. On itwiki and skwiki there are separate articles named after "Nickel" and "Nickel-Strunz". I think linking the latter with 9th edition (Special:Diff/1291839972) shows better what the distinction between articles is on these wikis (itwiki article specifically lists minerals per 9th edition, and skwiki article also better matches particular newer version). If motivation behind my merge already really wasn't made clear by subsequent description/statement changes and if you don't have time capacity to look into the subject matter on your own then, as usually, it's better to ask about it first, instead of just putting things back and forth. 2001:7D0:81F7:B580:8D4A:BF9B:C75F:E2AD 08:50, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
