The original spelling is Betula dauurica: I don't see at all why this should be correctable to davurica (not a case of v and u being used interchangeably). Correction to dahurica seems somewhat more sensible (the Dahur people), but not self-evident.
It is clearly not a typographic error. However, nobody seems to be using the original spelling. - Brya (talk) 16:58, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
