It is not logic at all to :

  • mention the used label for DNA in english
  • but not do so in french nor in german.

I am mothertongue german (swiss german) and living in french region . I can you advice for sure that the full names are nearly never used in daily live, but most often the abreviations DNA and ADN instead. So you sould quick make a shift - identical to english and set the full name behind . Especially in french spoken region, 95% of people understand immediatly the abstract 'ADN', more or less some few (probably 10 to 15% know the english pendant, but only a very few know the full name. Google says at 2016/2/25: Google set to french: ADN -streaming gives 50.6 mio founds DésoxyriboNucléique Acide 0.12 mio founds

Google set all languages: DNS gives 120 mio founds Desoxi ribonuclein säure |desoxiribonucleinsäure gives 0.096 mio founds
