@Einar Myre: Are the Orfører elected four years at a time according to the election-terms? I do not know for sure how it works here in Sweden, but it is not unusual that ordföranden is replaced if his/her party or coalition looses an election. But from what I know, it is more common that they retire mid-term. A municipal majority is normally much more stable over time than on national level. 62 etc (talk) 16:46, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Sextvåetc: We have municipal elections every four years, and the mayor is chosen each time from the elected members of the municipal council. While it does sometimes happen that mayors step down, I think it's more common that they stay in office the full term. Einar Myre (talk) 17:20, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
