Subclass of tool

[edit]

I remove "subclass of physical tool (Q39546) to this item as en:Tool refers to a physical objet. I noticed that because Talk:Q15222213/class, which is supposed to help with the maintenance of phyisical-objet items returned many weird results like Wikipedia (Q52). If "tool" in the figurative, immaterial sense is needed, that should be a different item. --Zolo (talk) 17:01, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Subclass of communication

[edit]

I also removed "subclass of communication (Q11024)", since the latter is a process (the process of communicating) while this item is about a "channel or tool". For example, newspapers and magazines are communication media but not "processes". Probably the colloquial use of "communication" as something that is communicated was confused here with communication (Q11024).

Now the only applicable superclass I could find is entity (Q35120). I don't think anything more specific generalises "tools or channels". --Markus Krötzsch (talk) 19:43, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
