Scope of this item[edit]
@Quesotiotyo: thanks for taking care of this item that needed it but I'm still a bit confused. Do you have any references to clarify the matter and the scope. Also, shouldn't the sitelink be moved to dictionary entry (Q1580166) ?

- This item was originally about an entry in any kind of reference work, including but not limited to dictionaries and encyclopedias. Q1580166 was set up to be about dictionary entries specifically, so a subset of this item. My aim was to match the scope of the Wikipedia sitelinks and the initial statements on these two items up until User:Vollbracht's changes, after which there seems to have been a bit of confusion. If some still exists then perhaps more adjustments need to be made.
