It would be useful to distinguish between two fundamentally different types of weather satellite. "Polar orbiting" and "geostationary" weather satellites have different capabilities and different roles in gathering data and making weather forecasts.
- We already have that in place for specific satellites with type of orbit (P522), that can be added as a property of the specific satellite. If you want a specific item for e.g. a Polar orbiting weather satellite, please create it first on Wikipedia itself, and it will get imported here sooner or later.
