I wonder if this is not a synonym of http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q1758713? – The preceding unsigned comment was added by GargoMNHN (talk • contribs) at 2 July 2018 (UTC).
- @GargoMNHN: needs expertise. Compare:
- autotroph (Q131427): organism that produces complex organic compounds (such as carbohydrates, fats, and proteins) from simple substances present in its surroundings, generally using energy from light (photosynthesis) or inorganic chemical reactions (chemosynthesis)
- primary producer (Q1758713): organism in an ecosystem that produces biomass from inorganic compounds

- @Estopedist1: Indeed, they seem to be the same or similar, but fifteen Wikipedias have sitelinks on both items: [1] (for the English Wikipedia, it is a redirect) I don't speak the language, but the Dutch Wikipedia seems to imply that primary producer (Q1758713) is a subset of autotroph (Q131427)? I guess we would need some able to read those languages as well to tell these articles apart. --CamelCaseNick (talk) 16:57, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
