Region or state
[edit]Most of these interwikis is about partially-recognised state not region. Therefore need arrange this question. --Treisijs (talk) 06:13, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, they do need fixing. en.wiki, ko.wiki, ru.wiki and a couple others have an article on both. ang.wiki appears to be about the region, not the partially-recognized state. Other than that, the rest look like they need to be at Q1246. Regards, — Moe Epsilon 18:14, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- All right, I see now that I made some wrong moves because some of the articles with name "Kosovo" are indeed about "Republic of Kosovo" rather than about region. However, user which moved most of these articles from "Kosovo" to "Republic of Kosovo" also moved some which are not about republic. I moved some pages back based on their title and I was wrong because I did not examined each article closely to see what about they are. I agree that articles which are clearly speaking about "Republic of Kosovo" should be moved there, but other pages which do not speaking about republic only should remain at "Kosovo". - One more thing: I do not agree that all articles from Wikipedias which do not have articles about both, region and republic, should be moved to "Republic of Kosovo". There are some Wikipedias which have articles about region only, but not about republic. They should remain at region page. PANONIAN (talk) 10:26, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Also about the partially-recognised state is: https://eo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosovo.
- And I'd like to suggest a “ru” language description: географический регион на Балканском полуострове.
- TIA.

- Well, description from eo is "Kosovo estas lando de Balkanio, en la sudo de Eŭropo, fakte kontrolata de UNO". If I understand this correctly it says "Kosovo is land in the Balkans, in south Europe, controlled de facto by the UN". This is what I speak about: a lot of these articles are not about "partially-recognised state", but rather about both: region and state. This is why these articles should be linked here. Otherwise, articles which speaking only about state should be linked in "Republic of Kosovo" page. The fact that some articles are containing infobox "Republic of Kosovo" does not mean that such articles are only about state and not about disputed region. Text of each article should be examined closely for clarification of its subject. PANONIAN (talk) 16:35, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
- I just spent more than two hours to move 113 interwikis to Q1246 (the state). I checked all the links one by one and moved those pages that have a country infobox or other relevant information. If I made any errors, please feel free to correct them. --Neo-Jay (talk) 18:49, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
